Level Up | Email Marketing Workshop | April
About Level Up:
“Level Up” is a monthly event dedicated to training our technology and innovation community for operational excellence on various business operations.
There is a Q&A component to get your specific questions answered and light networking to get to know other folks interested in this often overlooked but critical topic.
This presentation is suited for founders, executives, and employees, regardless of size, but everyone from our technology and innovation community is welcome to attend.
About April’s event:
Marketing is a little like online dating. Come learn how email marketing can help your customers know, like, and trust you enough to commit to your product or service. We will talk about:
- Where email marketing fits in the sales funnel
- The different kinds of lifecycle emails and how to use them
- How to have a great “first date” with your customer through email marketing
You’ll leave with the framework for a welcome or onboarding sequence you can use to create a great first impression on your trial users or visitors. This workshop is especially suitable for individuals or businesses selling digital products like memberships, online courses, apps, or SaaS, but is applicable to anyone who seeks to build bridges between people, communities, and ideas. Jennifer Duann Fultz is a freelance email marketing consultant / web designer / writer and editor. She enjoys working with small business owners and progressive organizations much more than teaching high schoolers about asexual reproduction and human anatomy.
Who can attend?
Our event is open to the public and members of The Mill.

What is The Mill?
The Mill is Bloomington’s center of gravity for innovators, remote workers, entrepreneurs, and creators. We completely renovated a 103-year-old building from the Showers Brothers Furniture Company and transformed it into a 19,000 square-foot coworking and incubator space. Already a major driver of innovation in our community, it is home to 15 companies and 150 members. They’re helping us build the infrastructure for the 21st century – talent, capital, and training – to change the trajectory of our City and our State.
100% free thanks to our generous sponsors and supporters.
